Any network client should be able to connect to this network.  Once connected you will need to use a browser to accept the end user agreement from the university.
 
== UTDALLAS and WATERVIEW ==
  * WPA Enterprise PEAP

If on-campus, it is not recommended to use UTDALLAS.  CometNet2 is faster and easier to connect to.  If in phases I-IV, there is no alternative to the WATERVIEW network.

== CometNet2 ==
  * WPA2 Enterprise MSCHAPv2

CometNet2 is the preferred campus network.

== network-manager ==

GUI network manager that is included in many installations by default.  
All of the major desktop environments (KDE, Gnome, XFCE) have an interface for it.

== wicd ==

[[wicd]] is a light-weight GUI network manager.  It is useful if you are not running a full desktop environment, or as an alternative to network-manager.

== wpa_supplicant ==

[[wpa_supplicant]] is the back-end that the GUI network managers use.  It can be used directly via a command-line interface.
